Cancellation Policy

Details on cancellations, refunds, and related policies for RoamMyWay bookings.

General Cancellation & Refund Rules

  • Individual Bookings (Hotels/Flights/Activities): Only base fare refunded (excluding taxes/fees).
  • Packages: Non-refundable except for documented emergencies. If approved: 25% deduction + 2.5% bank charges from refundable amount.
  • Deposit Forfeiture: 50% advance payment non-refundable under any cancellation.
  • Refund Processing Time: All refunds (if approved) will be processed within 15-30 business days after documentation verification.
  • Bank Charges: 2.5% deduction on all refunds for payment processing.
  • Force Majeure: Zero refunds for natural disasters, pandemics, flight delays, or political unrest.
  • Proof Requirements for Refunds: Medical emergencies require hospital certificate + doctor’s note. Death cases require death certificate + relationship proof.

Flight Cancellations

  • Flight Rebooking: Airline schedule changes may require rebooking; difference in fare to be paid by traveler.
  • No refunds for voluntary flight changes within 72 hours of departure.
  • For non-refundable flights, only taxes are refundable upon cancellation (subject to airline policies).

Train Cancellations

  • "Travel Secure Premium": Guarantees alternate travel options if original train is unavailable. Cancellations under this plan follow standard refund rules.
  • Cancellations can be made before chart preparation or a specified time before departure, with applicable fees deducted (as per IRCTC rules).

Hotel & Activity Cancellations

  • Activities subject to weather/operational changes (no refunds).
  • Hotel cancellations: Free cancellation until 48 hours before check-in for select properties; otherwise, one night charge or full amount non-refundable.
  • Weather Contingencies: Mountain/beach activities may be canceled for safety; no cash refunds (voucher issued instead).

Package & Voucher Cancellations

  • Packages are non-refundable except in emergencies with documentation.
  • Voucher Expiry: Unused vouchers forfeited after 90 days.
  • Promotional Vouchers: Limited to one per booking; cannot be combined.
